College hosts showcase of the work of NI farmers

Home Economics students in Year 9 and 10 recently enjoyed a demonstration by Patricia McClean from the Livestock and Meat Commission.  This session provided valuable insights into the nutritional value of quality-assured beef and lamb in Northern Ireland. It also served as a showcase for the work of our local farmers in producing top-quality meats while also promoting food safety, provenance and culinary excellence.  Students sampled an array of delicious dishes, including beef tagliatelle.
