Shimna students head west to the Gaeltacht / Téann scoláirí na Séimhne siar chuig an Ghaeltacht

Matthew Treacy, Ronan Grant and Micheál Martin have taken early summer holidays as they go to spend two weeks in the Gaeltacht in beautiful Machaire Rabhartaigh and Bun An Inbhir. The boys started their course on Friday 16th and will continue until Friday 30th June, living with a local family and spending all day everyday singing, dancing, swimming, playing, making friends and, of course, learning even more Irish. As you can see from the pictures, all three boys have already won an award for their effort with Irish. Well done boys! We wish you all the best of luck with the rest of the course.

D'fhág Matthew Treacy, Ronan Grant agus Micheál Martin go luath don samhradh chun aghaidh a thabhairt ar an Ghaeltacht i gceantar galánta Mhachaire Rabhartaigh agus Bun An Inbhir, áit a mbeidh siad ar feadh coicise. Thosaigh an cúrsa ar Aoine 16ú agus rachaidh sé ar aghaidh go dtí Aoine 30ú agus na gasuraí ag fanacht le clann áitiúil ag caitheamh achan lá ag ceol, ag damhsa, ag snamh, ag imirt, ag cruthú cairdeas agus ag foghlaim níos mó Gaeilge dár ndóigh. Mar a fheiceann sibh óna pictiúir, tá duais Gaeilgeoir an Lae bainte ag na gasúir cheana, maith sibh!!  Gabhaimis gach rath orthu idir seo agus deireadh an chúrsa.
