1.General Assistant II

Shimna Integrated College, Newcastle is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced General Assistant II. The purpose of the role is to support the learning of students with additional educational needs.

• 1 Part Time (15 hours per week), temporary until 30 June 2026

Salary scale:  JNC Point 11 £28,142 (£14.9917) - Point 14 £29,540 (£15.7367) pro rata.

2. Learning Support Assistants

We welcome applications for Learning Support Assistants who wish to join our substitute register.

Salary scale:  JNC Point 11 £28,142 (£14.9917) - Point 14 £29,540 (£15.7367) pro rata.

Appointees will be joining the College at an exciting time as last year, we moved into our new state-of-the-art building, with its new SEN Hub.
