Today, the Sports Hall was the venue for a day-long bench ball tournament, played out by form classes in Years 8, 9 and 10.

Year 8 winners were 8D2 - Ethan, Evie Jake, Maddie and Olivia

Year 9 winners were 9D3 - Cliodhna, Fionn, Jamie, Irian, Isabella and Sienna

The programme was so busy, we didn’t quite make it to a Year 10 final, which makes them all winners.

Fair play to the P7 class in All Children’s too, who joined us at lunchtime, hot foot from their Halloween Disco. They were mighty - and should sleep well tonight!

A massive thank you to our Student Leaders for their superb organisation and management of the day - Nicole Campbell, Ethan Cooper, Megan Groves, Ben McLaughlin and Kai Reilly.

A reminder that, as part of Reading Week, tomorrow is an own clothes day, with students and staff encouraged to dress in a costume inspired by a film, book or play. At lunchtime, students can also enter the baseball big hitter competition in the playground.

We will continue to raise funds for the students’ chosen charity, Evora Hospice. Thank you for today’s contributions to this worthy cause.
