Another hundred potential lifesavers trained to restart a heart

Last week, over 100 of our Year 10 students took part in the UK-wide ‘Restart a Heart’ 2026 initiative, gaining vital, potentially life-saving skills in CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). It coincided with the annual campaign led by Resuscitation Council UK to empower as many people as possible with the knowledge and confidence to act in an emergency.

We’re very proud with the way our students embraced this opportunity to learn skills that could one day help them save a life. By learning how to respond in an emergency, they are not only developing practical skills but also demonstrating the sense of responsibility that can make a real difference in our community.

A huge thank you to Raymond Shannon and his team for inspiring and equipping our young people with the skills and confidence to become potential lifesavers.
