College competes in the Integrated Schools Futsal Cup

Mr Milligan writes: “Today, our boys and girls players competed in the Futsal Integrated Schools Cup.  

Our team in Section A played 6 games, finishing 3rd in their group section and scoring 9 goals. They played an excellent passing game, controlling possession and creating lots of chances. They won their quarter final 4-0 but sadly lost 2-0 in their semi-final to Fort Hill, who went on to win the tournament. James McCann andDara McGrath were top goal scores for the team.

Our Section B team topped their group, scoring 16 goals, but were then eliminated in the quarter-finals.  Goals came from Isabella Milligan, Sophie Mayers, Sienna Maguire, Jamie Magee and Ryan McCullagh.

Our Section A team lives to fight another day, qualifying for the next week’s finals tournament.”
