Cross-country success for Shimna runners

Last Thursday, Shimna’s cross-county runners took part in the Down Championships. They did the College proud, especially given the tricky conditions, and there were a number of excellent performances on the day.

Special mentions go to Fahlin Murphy McKibben ( Year 8 ) and Kari Foster ( Year 10 ), both of whom qualified for the Ulster Championships later this year. Fahlin finished in 3rd position in the boys’ race and Kari crossed the line 4th. Well done to Fahlin and Kari. We wish them well in the next round.
