Ms McGilloway, Head of Drama, writes:
Our Drama & Performing Arts students had the pleasure of visiting the Grand Opera House last Thursday to watch The Ocean at the End of the Lane, adapted from Neil Gaiman book of the same name. This National Theatre touring production is only visiting Northern Ireland for a short time, so we were lucky to have the chance to witness such a spellbinding performance. Our students were suitably impressed by the theatrical magic showcased. This production had everything to offer, from the uniquely made puppetry along with the superbly choreographed physical theatre from the ensemble. Our students were able to take away some wonderfully inspirational ideas for their devised pieces for GCSE and A Level. Theatre at its finest!
