Ms Maguire, Head of Careers, writes: “On Tuesday, Year 12 visited the School Summit 2025 in the Eikon Centre, Lisburn. They were treated to a range of exciting experiences, from meeting R2D2, to giving CPR to an army casualty, to riding onboard an inmate transportation vehicle with the prison service. Employers, employees, apprentices and further education providers were quizzed by our team of enthusiastic Shimna students, all investigating options for their post-16 choices. Bold questions, inspiring ideas and bright futures lie ahead!”
