Fremdsprachen und Sport!

Ms Susay writes: “Today we welcomed back Steve Eadon, former Community Outreach Worker for Arsenal FC, as part of our role as a PASCH school which supports the teaching and learning of German in schools. Steve began the day leading a fun and interactive German table football tournament with the p7 pupils from All Children's Integrated Primary School and the P6 pupils from Newcastle Primary School. The pupils fully immersed themselves in learning German, enjoying themselves along the way. We would like to thank All Children's Integrated Primary School for hosting the event.”

“In the afternoon Steve Eadon gave an excellent motivational presentation to our year 8 students at Shimna Integrated College about the importance of learning languages, emphasising all the jobs available that are connected with the sport and leisure industry. It highlighted how speaking other languages is a extremely valuable skill. We would like to thank Steve Eadon for flying over from London for these events and the support of the PASCH organisation and Goethe Institut.”
