GCSE Biologists make the most of our natural surroundings

Last week, our Year 11 Biology students visited Donard Forest to complete a belt transect investigation as part of their preparation for next year’s practical exam. Students explored how plant species change across different habitats while developing their fieldwork, sampling and data collection skills. The beautiful weather made for an even more enjoyable day of outdoor learning.
