GCSE Language students participate in British Council webinar

As part of European Day of Languages year 11 and 12 GCSE language students took part in a fantastic live webinar organised by the British Council. Students heard from a diplomat working for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Berlin, an employee at GCHQ Headquarters in England and a university of Manchester student studying languages just back from spending a year abroad. All the speakers gave a valuable insight into how they got into their fields of work and the benefits of learning languages in terms of career progression.
