Girls’ rugby team enjoy success in the Ulster Schools Blitz

Our Year 9 & 10 girls took part in the Ulster Schools Development Blitz at the Mid-Ulster Sports Arena, Cookstown. The girls were undefeated, finishing their pool joint 1st after recording 2 wins and a draw. Try scorers from the tournament were Eve McNerlin, Abigail Buckley and Zara Burney. Well done to all, especially the Year 9’s who have now experienced their first tag rugby competition. Exciting times ahead for girls rugby at Shimna!
