Junior netballers romp to NI Shield victory

Mrs Doyle writes: “Shimna had a convincing win over Grosvenor GS in the NI Junior Netball Shield, winning 26/3. Shimna will play Sullivan GS next and are just one game away from the NI Quarter Final. Once again, our excellent attacking players Hope, Lucy and Kate excelled in a high-scoring performance.

The mid court players, Mila, Parisa, Sophie, Eve, Michaela and Annie combined to deliver a steady flow of passes into the attacking circle. Shimna's strong defence led by Niamh and Lucy prevented many of Grosvenor' s counter attacks. It was a fantastic performance from all the Shimna team. Well done!!”
