Earlier today, four Shimna students took part in the Ulster cross-country championships and ran very well. Kari Foster has again qualified for the All-Irelands, finishing in 9th position in the intermediate race of 85 runners. In the minor girls race, Eve Mc Namara narrowly missed out on qualifying by three places, coming 18th out of 119 runners, with Parisa Susay-Quinn 43rd. In the junior girls race, Carrie Bradley came 50th out of 109 runners. Well done to all four girls on an outstanding effort.
