Netballers fall just short in NI League Final

Mrs Doyle writes: “Earlier today, our Year 8 & 9 girls played in the Minor B N.I. League Final.  It was a very competitive game but we were beaten 14 goals to 10. The girls all played magnificently but Mount Lourdes Enniskillen established a lead early and, despite winning the third quarter, Shimna could not level the score before full time. Shimna have another opportunity to gain revenge when they meet them in the forthcoming Minor Shield Competition Quarter-Final.

Madeline Mason, the current Inspector for PE, was there to present the awards and Lucy McGrady was selected as the Most Valued Player on the Shimna team.

It was a special occasion and our supporters enjoyed it.”
