Outstanding performance by Shimna student in national championships

Well done to Kari Foster, who represented Shimna Integrated College and Ulster at the Tailteann Irish Schools Inter-provincial Athletics Championships, held in Carlow over the weekend.  In a very competitive intermediate girls 1500m, Kari finished in a highly impressive sixth place.

This is another outstanding achievement for Kari, all the more so as she had only just completed her GCSEs.
