Mrs Curran, Literacy Coordinator, writes: “Today, five of our students from Years 8 and 9 took part in the Northern Ireland Regional Reading Champions Quiz in Killicomaine Junior High School. We competed against 26 other schools across Northern Ireland.
Sylvie, Arthur, Paul, Michael, and Ruairi should all be very proud of themselves and their excellent book knowledge. They represented the school very well, winning the Newcomer Prize. We were particularly impressed with Arthur, who dressed up as Percy Jackson for the quiz.
Well done, everyone! It was great to be able to celebrate your reading knowledge!”
