Safety Bus drives home key messages

A big thank you to Kevin & Paul from Translink for bringing the Safety Bus to Shimna yesterday to work with our Year 8 students. The focus was on key messages arond responsible choices when travelling.

Students explored how to stay safe on public transport, the impact of anti-social behaviour and vandalism, and the importance of respecting drivers and fellow passengers. They also learned about the role of CCTV and the importance of following safety guidance.

A valuable and engaging visit with important messages about ravelling smart, showing respect and our collective responsibility in keeping everyone safe.
