You're never too old to have fun with sensory play, read stories, make decorations, gingerbread houses and, most importantly, visit Santa.
Our Year 12 volunteers were a credit to us as they helped out at one of the Homestart Santa Days in St John's Hall. As well as supporting the children to access the activities and promote the importance of play, the Year 12s assisted staff to set up, maintain and tidy up between sessions.
After a great morning Stefan, James and Lucy opted to stay to help in the afternoon. Our students are very grateful to Homestart for inviting us to help.
Our next group of Christmas volunteers are prepped and ready to help out at the next Santa day on 16th December.
