Shimna boys leading the way to Queen’s

Year 11 QUB Junior Sports Academy participants Damien Rooney and Shea Quinn attended the second session of the programme where they are completing a Level 1 Sports Leadership Award, accredited through Sports Leaders UK.

Classmate Gabriel Statkiewicz is also part of the programme Gaining this practical qualification will give them a sense of achievement and motivation and sets strong foundations for future development of leadership skills.
