Shimna girls qualify for All-Ireland Athletics Championships

Congratulations to Aoife and Danielle who took part in the Ulster Athletics Championships earlier today.

Aoife won the Junior Girls 1200m walk, with an outstanding performance. She was second also in the Junior Girls Hammer, throwing a personal best. Danielle clinched third place in the Junior Girls Discus and will join Aoife at the All-Ireland Schools Athletics Championships in Tullamore next month.
