Shimna girls qualify for Ulster Athletics Championships

Well done our junior athletes for their sterling efforts in the Down County Championships this week. Aoife Grant and Danielle Trimble qualified for the Ulster Athletics Championships having achieved second places in the 1200m walk, hammer and discus.

Other notable mentions go to Michelle Makoni, fourth in the shot; Ellie Moore, sixth in the 800m; and Jamie Magee, seventh in the 800m.
