Shimna hosts cross-border project day

It was our pleasure to host the latest in the series of workshops linked to the cross-border project. Shimna is one of four participating schools, along with New-Bridge Integrated, Patrician High School, Carrickmacross and St Louis Secondary School, Dundalk, with groups of Year 10 students working together on a project called ‘Exploring Identity’.

There was a great buzz in the hall today, as friendships are forged and deepened through collaboration on a range of art-based projects. Today’s activities built on the work of previous sessions which will conclude with a final celebration and exhibition later this term.

A massive thank you to the staff from all four schools - including Laura Rafferty and Davina Callen from Shimna - for working so well together to make this programme such a success.
