Shimna Lionesses commended for fundraising efforts

Yesterday, Beth Cairnduff, President of the Newcastle Lions Club, and Marion McGreevy, Vice District Governor of Lions International,  presented Shimna students with their Young Leaders in Service Award certificates. This was in recognition of their contribution to the recent Daisy Dander fundraising event in support of Daisy Lodge.

The students, who included Emma Jo Burke, Evie Gorman, Faith Heaton, Amelie Mulholland and Gabriele Stirbyte, were commended for their enthusiastic involvement, which helped raise vital funds for Daisy Lodge. Their efforts exemplify the spirit of youth leadership and civic engagement that Lions International seeks to foster.
