Our Netball Minors played St. Colmcille’s HS. Shima came out on top of a competitive match, winning 13 goals to 7. Star players were Zoe Astruc-Kidd, who playing as centre provided the shooters, Amy Baker, Jane Mc Nerlin, Connie O’ Neil and Keiley Grant with good goal scoring opportunities. Zoe was assisted by wing attack, Isabella Mayers, wing defence, Grace O’Hare and Mia McCord. The defence was led by Isabella Sloan and assisted by Lana McNerlin. The girls can look forward to their next match, against St. Mark’s HS in the New Year.

In a closely fought game against St Ronan's HS, our Intermediates lost out narrowly, 23 goals to 18. Once again, captain Mila Astruc-Kidd led the team with great determination and skill. She provided the shooters Hope Sherlock and Lucy McGrady with a variety of shooting opportunities. Mila was ably assisted by Parisa Susay-Quinn, playing as wing attack. Evie Gorman led the defence, assisted by Niamh Watson, Eve Mc Namara and Michaela Hanna. The match was played in a competitive and sporting spirit.
