Shimna runners qualify for Ulster Championships

Shimna’s cross-country runners took part in this year’s Down Schools Cross-Country Championship on Thursday, held at Delamont Country Park. In a competitive field, all of our students gave their best and five qualified for the Ulster Championships later this year.

Congratulations to Fahlin Murphy McKibben, Eve McNamara, Parisa Susay Quinn, Carrie Bradley and Kari Foster, who now go on to the Ulster races, with the potential of making it to the All-Irelands.

A special mention to Fahlin, who made the podium with a second place finish.
