Shimna students enjoy Early Childhood Studies showcase

Earlier today, Sixth Form students welcomed Barbara Rooney, Coordinator and Lecturer for the Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies at SERC.

Awarded by Queen's University Belfast in association with Stranmillis University College, this Foundation Degree equips students with the knowledge, understanding and practical skills needed to work with children aged 0-8 in primary schools and early years settings. Our students gained valuable insight into child development and the factors that shape early childhood learning.
