Ms McGlynn, Geography Department, writes: “On Friday, Caitlin Healy, Sophie Mayers and Lara Campbell attended a writing workshop Ulster University, linked to The Future Island Island Sustainability Project we took part in last year. The aim of the workshop was to prepare students to create written pieces for a special Northern Ireland edition of the National Association for Environmental Education Journal.
This was a highly enjoyable and rewarding day, which pushed all three students out of their comfort zones. They were asked to present their ideas individually in front of an audience, as well as to share their opinions in smaller seminar groups.
I am extremely proud of each of these students and of their wholehearted willingness to embrace this challenge. We hope to provide an update later next year when the publication is released.”
