Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome Eleanor Edwards from the National Space Academy to Shimna. Eleanor delivered an exciting and interactive workshop for 8B and 8S. The workshop focused on the fascinating topic of “Life in Space.”

Our students took part in a range of hands-on activities in the sessions, including observing chemical reactions in space using glow sticks, investigating pressure with marshmallows and syringes, and unleashing their creativity by designing their own alien life forms. The workshops were both educational and great fun, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm among everyone involved.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are already looking forward to learning more about space in their upcoming Science lessons. A huge thank you to Eleanor for an inspiring and memorable visit!
