Shimna students the bee’s knees at spelling

On Friday, we held our first ever Spelling Bee at Shimna, and what a massive success it was!
Congratulations to our winners and to everyone who participated. It takes courage to stand up in front of your peers and compete. The judges were mightily impressed with everyone’s spelling abilities.
After four challenging and intense rounds, the winners were:
Year 8: Connie
Year 9: Leah
Year 10: Leah
Overall winner: Leah in Year 10
