This week, our Sixth Form students interested in studying medicine met with student doctor Chloe McCaughey as part of the In2MedSchool’s School Engagement Programme (SEP).

Chloe, who volunteers with this UK‑wide widening‑participation charity, spoke about:

  • the realities of life as a medical student

  • the pathway into medicine, including applications and entry requirements

  • the value of 1:1 mentoring, UCAT preparation and mock interview support

  • the importance of widening access for students from all backgrounds

Our students will now be able to access mentoring from In2MedSchool as they pursue medicine, giving them valuable support with both their applications and interviews.

Thank you, Chloe, for giving your time and expertise so generously.
