Sun shines brightly on Shimna Sports Day

Forecasts of rain proved to be greatly exaggerated as we managed a whole day of sporting activity in balmy conditions. The morning was given over to track and field, with events across four year groups, followed by an afternoon of netball and football tournaments. It was great to see so many students getting involved across the day, with a number of outstanding performances.

Thank you to Mr Dagen and Ms Doyle for organising yet another superb day of sporting activity.

Credit also to the staff who helped out and participated, including the legendary Mr McClean giving a masterclass on the football field. Who needs Lionel Messi, anyway?
