Two teams of dedicated staff and one enthusiastic team of students are set to take part in the Belfast Marathon on Sunday 4 May, running in support of a cause close to their hearts. They are raising funds for Daisy Lodge, the specialist therapeutic centre supporting families affected by childhood cancer. With months of training now behind them, the Shimna teams are hoping to make a positive difference through their fundraising efforts and community spirit.

Robbie Keenan, team organiser and fitness conditioning coach, expressed his pride in the commitment of those taking part: “It’s been incredible to see both staff and students come together for such a meaningful cause. Daisy Lodge provides vital support to families during unimaginably difficult times and it’s an honour to run in their name.”

If you would like to support Team Shimna, donations can be made on their Justgiving page.
