U19 Boys bow out of Ward Cup

The U19 boys finished off their Gaelic season with a defeat to St. Patrick's Banbridge today. With the step up in level and a number of last year’s squad moving on to University or employment, Shimna fielded a youthful side throughout the competition and learned valuable lessons along the way. Only one of today’s squad will be unavailable next year so the experience of playing at this higher level will set the boys in good stead for next season. Good luck to our U14 boys who play in the Fr. Sharkey Ulster Schools Semi-Final on Thursday
