Last week, our Year 10 cohort participated in a two-day virtual work experience programme, in collaboration with the UK's leading social mobility charity, 'Futures For All'.
Student chose to work on real-world projects designed by four innovative employers:
Version 1 - a global IT consulting and digital transformation company
Northern Ireland Space Office - an NI-based organisation who support the growth of the space industry
Graham Construction - a local company who construct impressive projects across the island of Ireland and the UK
Logan Performance Consulting - bringing together spheres of sport, science and technology
One student commented, "I couldn't wait to get back into school for the second day of the work experience because I spent all evening thinking about our design and how our group could make it come to life together. This has made me really think about the subjects I'm studying, and how I can see them in action in careers that I actually find interesting! This was definitely unexpected!"
