A group of our Year 11 boys are gearing up for their charity bike ride, which will take place in our fitness suite tomorrow.
Earlier this week, the boys met with Sarah-Jane Campbell, Service Manager at The Well, the boys’ chosen charity. The Well is dedicated to promoting positive mental health and emotional wellbeing in our community - https://thewellhub.net/
Sarah Jane shared her admiration for the boys’ initiative: “I am blown away by the boys’ determination. It’s a tough challenge, but they’ll be doing so much good for the community.”
Our students are equally motivated. Fahlin Murphy McKibbin said: “We’re delighted knowing the money we raise will have such a positive impact on our community this Christmas.” Benjamin Cummins added: “We’re nervous but excited. It’s an amazing feeling to have the whole school behind us.”
Ciaran Milligan, our Resilience Lead, commented: “This is a student-led project that started out as an idea over lunchtime board games. Seeing the boys’ confidence grow as their plan took shape has been inspiring. We couldn’t be more proud of them.”
