On Saturday, 25 of our Year 13 students joined fellow young leaders across the area for a festive celebration at La Mon Hotel. The students are part of the YMCA Leadership Programme, Empower 2 Transform.

The programme, which started in August, runs through to the summer and involves a range of activities, including community engagement and field trips. It promotes five key pillars: good relations; personal development; citizenship; employability; and person progression. Funded by PEACEPLUS through the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), E2T is all about empowering young people to develop self-confidence, skills and positive relationships across diverse backgrounds.

Well done to our Year 13 students, who are undertaking this course in their own time.
