Mrs Mathieu writes: “Year 8 pupils showcased their digital knowledge and creativity this week in the school’s CyberFirst Online Safety Leaflet Competition, an initiative designed to promote safe and responsible online behaviour.

As part of the project, students created informative, eye‑catching leaflets covering key areas of online safety. Judges praised the high standard of work, noting that many entries included exceptionally detailed information, clear guidance and thoughtful design choices.

A winner was selected from each class, who received a prize generously sponsored by CyberFirst. From these outstanding entries, one leaflet was chosen as the Overall Winner for its clarity, depth of content, and strong visual impact. Photographs show the proud class winners receiving their prizes, highlighting the enthusiasm and effort put into this important digital‑skills challenge.

We congratulate all participants and looks forward to continuing its partnership with CyberFirst to support pupils in building safe, confident online habits.”
