Year 8 Geographers design cities of the future

Yesterday, Year 8 classes participated in a workshop building solar powered turbines. The sessions, led by Beatriz Mayoral Lahuerta from Sentinus, included a challenge for the students to build model cars. The day formed part of the Sustainable Communities Challenge and over the coming weeks each class will be designing a sustainable city in their Geography lessons. A great day for all involved!
