Year 8 girls take on the big guns in Netball Blitz

Our Year 8 girls played very competitively in a five-school Netball Blitz earlier today. They played four matches, winning against Asssumption GS and Lurgan JHS, and losing to Aquinas GS and Ballymena GS.

The defence was led admirably by Lana, supported by Mollie, Mia and Alex. Emily, Molly, Maise and Lucy also made valuable contributions in defence. Rosa and Katie played well in attack, with some excellent shots at goal. Ruth and Molly also supplied plenty of service into shooting circle.

A great performance from all the girls today, and promising signs ahead of the league season next year.
