Year 9 students recently took part in an exciting digital experience using the Cyber Explorers programme, giving them a taste of the world of cybersecurity. Working on the Cyber Explorers platform, students explored a virtual world where they learned about different cyber skills and how these connect to future careers. They took on a range of challenges, putting their knowledge into practice and building their problem-solving skills along the way.
The programme was a great way to get students thinking about how digital technology is used in everyday life and why it’s so important for the future. It also gave them the chance to learn in a fun, interactive way.
Mr Bennett said: “Year 9 completed tasks using the Cyber Explorer’s platform. Through the Cyber Explorers programme, students were introduced to a virtual world where they learnt about a variety of cyber skills and how they are important to future career paths. They completed challenges as part of the programme, enabling them to apply their knowledge to solving problems. These activities engaged the students and highlighted the importance of digital technology in the modern world.”
This experience highlights the school’s ongoing commitment to preparing students for the future by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed in an increasingly digital world.
