Year 9 students enter Royal Geographical Society competition

The Geography Department has run an in-house competition to select entries for the Young Geographer of the Year 2024 competition. The theme this year was #choosegeography and students were asked to design A3 posters to promote the value of studying the subject.  Eleven entries have been sent to the Royal Geographical Society in London.

Well done to the selected Year 9 students, who were presented with certificates of commendation this week in the assembly led by our Student Environment Leaders, Katie and Jana.
