At the start of the half-term break, a group of our Sixth Form students headed out to Madrid for an educational visit.
Ms Hardy writes: “We started with a city walking tour, visited a local school to take part in conversational activities, had a tour of a bullring, saw a performance of the play the students study for their Spanish A Level, spent a day at the Warner Bros theme park and visited Retiro Park. We also met up with Mia Pobloth, who finished at Shimna last year. She is now living and working in Madrid. A great time was had by all.”
Here’s a wee highlights video
Thanks to Ms Hardy and Ms Susay for organising and leading the trip.
