Future West End stars Made in Shimna

Students Anna Young and Mia Pobloth took to the stage at Annesley Hall for eight sold out shows with the Newcastle Glees.

The N.I. Premier, 'Made in Dagenham', is based on a true story where working class women at the Ford car factory in Dagenham fought their employers for equal pay and changed history.

Former Shimna students, parents and staff alike have also participated in this production. This is the first show performed by the Newcastle Glees since Covid forced Annesley Hall to close its doors.

Audience response has been unanimous that this play-and these players- are West-End ready!
