Senior Netball team make strong start to season

The Shimna Senior Netball Team were placed second in the regional netball blitz. They were narrowly beaten by Lagan College, 13 goals to 12, but defeated Grosvenor Grammar and Down High School in the other games.

Ms Doyle writes, “This was an excellent performance from all the girls, especially captain Annie Elliot at centre, goal defence Eabha Hallissey and Anna O' Flaherty, goal shooter. It’s an encouraging start to the netball season for our Senior Team”
