Shimna students impress in Engineering competition

Mr McCormick writes: “Yesterday, our amazing Year 9 students took part in a Form Class challenge in the annual Faraday Challenge. The students had to work in teams to build a device complete with some complex circuitry. Organisers Roy and Peter from Sentinus commended the students, saying they were an absolute delight to work with, and that they were very impressed with the standard of the projects this year.

Although all of our students that took part were winners in my eyes, special mention must go to the students from 9M who won the competition overall. The Faraday trophy now sits proudly in their Form room!”
