Shimna students observe World Empathy Day

Last week, Shimna students observed Empathy Day 2025. The theme was step into someone else's story. With over 277 short empathy stories read, the library was clad with empathy buntings and a collective effortwent into (almost) completing the "Be kind" jigsaw.

Empathy Day aims to inspire children and young people to learn about, experience and put empathy into action, fostering a generation that is more understanding, compassionate and socially aware.
