Indoor success at NI Athletics Championships for Shimna girls

Well done to Aoife Grant and Eve Mc Namara who enjoyed a very successful weekend at the NI Indoor Athletics Championships.

Aoife finished second in the U16 1500m race walk and Eve was third in the U16 girls’ long jump. Eve narrowly missed out on a place in the final of the 200m.

Both girls now go on to represent Northern Ireland in the National Indoor Championships in Athlone at the end of March.
