Year 13 students given community service awards

This morning, nine of our Year 13 students were presented with Young Leaders in Service Awards by Frank and Marian McGreevy from the Newcastle Lions club.

The award was given in recognition of the students’ fund-raising efforts for local charities earlier in the school year. For Marian, this was her first official duty in her new role as 2ndVice District Governor for the whole of Ireland. Congratulations to Marian on her appointment and we look forward to building on our work with the Lion club.
